Who Are We Looking For?
We are looking for someone who is inquisitive and inspired. You want to roll up your sleeves and take advantage of the opportunity to work at a fast-paced e-commerce company. You are personable, interested in art, and want to contribute to Saatchi Art’s growth and success.
Skills You Possess
Great eye for art and design and knowledge of art history, particularly of Contemporary Art
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
Strong writing skills
Comfortable working on a computer
Attention to detail, especially when it comes to Excel spreadsheets
Comfortable working as part of a team and on your own
Responsibilities
Support the marketing teams in day-to-day objectives, such as:
Researching upcoming exhibitions, art fairs, artist birthdays
Assisting both online and brick and mortar exhibitions
Drafting posts for our social media platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, etc.)
Drafting blog posts
Supporting special projects like our Art Advisory service
Outreach to artists
Eligibility / Hours and Compensation
Based in Santa Monica for a 3-month minimum duration
24 hours per week
Bachelor's degree in Art History or similar background strongly preferred
Must have very strong writing ability, with blogging experience
