Science Internship Jobs

A science intern works in different divisions and get proficiency in laboratory and greenhouse experiments or biochemical assays to characterize experimental, developmental, and commercial herbicides, insecticides, fungicides, and products of biotechnology. A science intern assists in field research methodologies, taxonomy, tropical ecology, and analytical techniques and report writing related to our conservation. A science intern gets an excellent opportunity to develop report-writing skills and to gain hands on experience in the preparation of scientific papers and reports for presentation and publication to a range of target audiences. A science intern makes novel observations, collect and interpret data, and draw sound scientific conclusions based on data analysis.

A science intern should be pursuing a BS or MS degree in biology, chemistry, informatics, or closely related majors. Students should have completed their junior year at least. A science intern must have practical experience in handling chemicals, operating laboratory equipments, generating and manipulating data, as well as computer database and word-processing skills. A science intern should have good interpersonal, communication, organizational, teamwork and time management skills.
