Business Development Internship Jobs
A business development internship is designed to equip students with the various skills and tactics used in a business development role. Typical duties for a business development internship position include making outbound calls to business houses from the contacts available in the database; taking appointments from clients; visiting clients' premises in order to strike a deal; understanding the clients' business operations; suggesting the clients to take up an appropriate service or project with the company; attending training sessions designed for business development executives; coordinating efforts with other business development interns and performing other tasks assigned by business development managers. A student on business development internship typically reports to a business development manager.
A business development internship is generally offered to students pursuing a bachelor's degree or higher in marketing. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior exposure to business development activities is essential. Excellent customer service skills are a key trait for this position.
