Specific responsibilities of this role include:
The Project Engineering Co-Op position is a role that directly supports the Chief Project Engineer for the PW Geared Turbo Fan (GTF) product line. The candidate will be in a highly visible position requiring good task management and interpersonal skills. This role comprises of working with all of the Collins Aerospace Integrated Product Teams to coordinate and track field investigations and product improvement tasks. Key areas of focus are coordination with Service Engineering and Project engineering groups on the status of field investigations and insuring weekly metrics are up to date and accurate. This role will also provide opportunity to assist in filed investigations and systems engineering analysis.
The Project Engineering Co-Op shall be responsible for:
Coordinate with Integrated Product Teams on tracking status of field investigations
Maintain task Milestone Database for tasks and investigations
Providing analytical support for field investigations
Aid Chief Project Engineer in preparing program reliability data collection and presentations
Education / Certifications
Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field from an accredited institution.
Experience/Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:
Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical or Aerospace Engineering or related field from an accredited institution
Must have GPA of 3.0 or higher
Must have completed 30 hours of college coursework
Requires US citizenship or permanent residence (green card).
