Honeywell Building Technologies (HBT) is fast growing, highly profitable and one of Honeywell’s four Strategic Business Groups (SBG) with revenues of $5.5B.
HBT develops and markets Connected Smart Building solutions using Industrial IOT technologies and business models that deliver compelling outcomes for commercial building owners, occupiers and managers, from reducing operating costs and improving sustainability, to increasing employee and business productivity, and enabling more efficient and effective safety and security. Your time working within the HBT strategy team could be spent in one or more of the following ways:
Emerging/adjacent market opportunity analysis & synthesis
Strategy development for an outcome-based breakthrough growth initiative
Competitor teardowns to inform business unit strategy

This internship is part of the Honeywell Commercial Leadership (HCL) program within HBT that offers career acceleration for select candidates. It is based in Atlanta, GA and reports to the Vice President of Strategy, HBT.
Must Have Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, economics, or engineering or related field of study
Must be currently enrolled and studying for an MBA
Must be anticipated to graduate after December 2021
Must be a US Citizen due to contractual requirements

Outstanding “people skills” and ability to influence stakeholders and drive alignment
Experience with and ability to understand new technologies, particularly software enabled services, and how to leverage technology to drive innovative strategies and business models
Proven experience working on multiple, complex projects with changing priorities
Outstanding communication skills with ability to communicate and facilitate effectively across regional & organizational boundaries
International experience and proven ability to work effectively across different cultures
3-4 years of experience in an engineering, marketing or operations role within a technology company, ideally software. Alternatively, 3-4 years within a top tier consultancy (pre-MBA)
Track record of successful strategy development and execution within role (pre-MBA)
Demonstrable role progression with at least one significant promotion (pre-MBA)
