The Jackson Laboratory
Excellent and challenging 8 – 10 week intern opportunity for individuals interested in laboratory safety with a focus on establishing processes for organizing inventory for a large laboratory. The inventory includes, but is not limited to: biological samples, hazardous and non-hazardous chemicals, antibodies and lab supplies. This unique internship will provide the successful candidate with experience in the intricacies of laboratory organization and administration, database update and development, and legacy inventory reduction. During this internship the successful candidate will also be familiarized with federal and state regulatory statutes, as well as processes needed for hazardous material management.
Biological sciences, or other relevant major

Must be currently enrolled in college
GPA of 3.3 or higher preferred
