PROGRAM OVERVIEWOur Co-Ops consist of hands-on learning through an assigned project, designed to provide you with direct experience for this role at our company. As a Co-Op, you will make an impact on the business as wells as continue to build your presentation skills, and analytical and leadership abilities. What will you gain?Hands-on experience in Category Management and Merchandising through real business projects in a global CPG organization. Experience working directly with Nestlé  Waters retailer partnersWorking closely with team members to learn how retail stores operate, and how Consumer Packaged Goods (CPG) companies influence and partner with the customer to optimize the shelf and drive change. Gain a firm understanding of overall category management and competitive trendsExamples of potential Category Management Co-Op projects include:Prepare sales data analysis to identify planograms adds/deletes to maximize brand growth.Help strategically craft planograms based on product velocities, retailer requirements and corporate goals.Help develop planogram visuals using space planning software and create PowerPoint presentations with update details and rationale. DETAILSThe program runs from November - May. The 6 month Co-Op is located in our North American Headquarters in Stamford, Ct.The program consists of social and professional networking opportunities, which include interaction with senior management and other team members across divisions.At the conclusion of the summer, all Co-Ops present their projects and experience to their peers and key business leaders.QualificationsTo apply for the Category Management Co-Op, candidates must meet the following requirements:  Education level and Graduation Date: Candidates must be pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in a related area. Majors: Business, Marketing, Statistics, and/or another related discipline.Minimum GPA: 3.0Program Location and Commitment:  Candidates must be willing to work in Stamford, Ct from November - May.   Work Authorization: Work authorization in the U.S. is required. NWNA does not offer work authorization sponsorship for this program. Additional preferred qualifications: Marketing/media experience a plusStrong analytical skillsStrong work ethic and initiativeStrong written and verbal communication skills Sound professional and personal judgementStrong experience with Microsoft Office Suite/Excel, data analysis, and internet technologies   NOTE: This position does not provide housing, relocation, or sponsorship for employment status (e.g. H-1B visa status).
