The primary role of the Marketing Intern is to support the Global Marketing Team. The ideal candidate will have an interest in marketing, project management, maintaining and improving business relations, and content development. This individual should be organized, comfortable working on multiple projects at a time, and be a team player with excellent attention to detail.
Essential Job Functions: * 30% Manage all aspects of global tradeshows including schedule, logistics, communication and tasks with third party vendors and collaboration with other Danaher OpCoâ€™s.
* 20% Responsible for planning and executing daily social media activity across multiple channels. Leverage existing content and create new materials for social media platforms to further drive growth and engagement. * 15% Develop customer case studies and project snapshots for usage across all external platforms. * 15% Create product specific content for customer facing campaigns. * 10% Identify key media outlets that effectively reach target audiences and secure article placement for technical papers and case studies. * 10% Assist in writing abstracts for tradeshows and conferences. Upon submission and acceptance, work with various stakeholders to produce the final content.
High school diploma or equivalent
Pursuing a degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and willingness to learn new tools as needed
Experience writing compelling communications on a range of topics
Experience with various social media platforms (LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Hootsuite)
Desire for continuous improvement, professional growth and ability to engage with peers.
An enthusiastic team player with exceptional organizational and content development skills.
