The Marketing Scholar Intern assists the Marketing team with tasks related to e-commerce marketing by developing campaigns, participating in field marketing, and creating social media content. This individual is actively involved in all phases of the marketing life cycle and must communicate proactively and effectively with team members on issues. This position is responsible for marketing GET and/or UGryd at your university, maintaining professionalism, executing marketing campaigns, conducting technical discussions with internal marketing departments to understand their designs and intended output, and be present at campus events for field marketing projects. What You'll Be Doing The Marketing Scholar Internship includes the following:This position has minimum management responsibilities. The candidate may be required to perform other related duties as assigned. Individual may be given tasks / requirements in all areas of marketing based upon project and scheduling requirements Assignments will be defined specifically with the intention of allowing the individual to develop independent marketing skills in the area of E-Commerce and new customer development Participate in special or customer-specific projects as assigned Research and develop an understanding of the marketing requirements for the product, including how the product is used by CBORD customers Presence at campus events via field marketing Attendance is mandatory for meetings with internship supervisor whether that be virtual or in person Assignments will become more complex as the individual demonstrates the ability to accept increasingly complex tasks. What You'll Bring to the Table Education Must be actively enrolled in the listed college obtaining a Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines:Communication Studies, Humanities, or a Business Major Experience Less than 18 months of experience in marketing, leadership, and product branding Competencies Basic communication skills with the ability to work effectively in a team Ability to work from own initiative, learn and adapt quickly, and be highly productive Ability to create multiple what-if scenarios putting yourself in customer's shoes and apply all the scenarios in the workflow of the application Ability to apply basic test strategy knowledge and methodologies to design, develop, and execute general marketing campaigns Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects under general supervision Awareness of business issues as they impact overall project plans Who You'll Work With CBORD E-Commerce Marketing Manager and Marketing Coordinator SDL2017
