This position with be involved with the creation of diagrams, matrices and catalogs for solving and documenting solutions. Successful completion is determined by formal analysis / design review.
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Work Environment and Physical Demands
This job operates in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets and fax machines.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work
This is a temporary, part-time position that will work an average of 25 hours per week. The schedule will fall during the normal business day of Monday – Friday during the hours 8:00 am – 5:00 pm. Each schedule will be customized to the business need and student’s class schedule.
No travel is expected for this position.

Development of systems overview diagrams from given requirements
Develop a catalog of use cases and use case view diagram for encapsulating scope for a given initiative
Develop UML class diagrams for given solution analysis scenario
Develop Component diagrams for systems integration showing required and provided interfaces
Develop catalog of technology stacks for a given solution
Illustrate design principles leveraged for a given implementation
Develop Conceptual and Logical Data Models for a given solution space
Provide a data dictionary /glossary for data model entities and attributes
Participation in daily scrum meetings
Submission of work for analysis / design reviews
Participation in analysis / design review sessions
Other tasks as assigned
Must be enrolled in an Information Technology related degree program including computer science/MIS, computer engineering and information systems
Hands on object oriented programming or design skills – C#, Java, Objective C, UML etc.
Must be in good standing with at least a 3.5 GPA in all coursework
Basic professional skills and competencies such as learning ability, communications, time management and self-awareness
Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office, Windows, SQL, Power Point and the Internet
