The Human Resources Intern works as part of a team and performs individual tasks to lead or support research and analysis on a number of HR initiatives. Project involvement includes: analyzing exit surveys, updating job description library, and analyzing New Hire feedback. This position offers an opportunity for a well-rounded participative learning experience within the HR function in a corporate setting.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS The tasks, duties, and responsibilities of the position that are most important to get the job done.
Support various projects within the HR Department including exit surveys, 30 day meetings and job description library;
Coordinate special employee engagement projects, i.e., wellness;
Collect and analyze new hire feedback;
Collect and analyze exit survey data;
Actively participate in regular departmental meetings;
Occasional set up department meetings and events;
Assist with the PDC Energy internship program;
Updates company organization charts;
Perform routine administrative tasks as needed and directed by HR Staff.

Proficient with all Microsoft Office Suite software packages and the aptitude to learn new software;

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS The minimum level of education, experience, and certifications required to perform the job.
Enrollment in college/university majoring in a Human Resources related program;
Juniors, Seniors and graduate students preferred;
Ability to work full time over the summer;
Strong interest in human resources function.
