Assist Hughston Surgical Center staff with Clerical duties, escorting patients to/from, preparing patient areas.
Assists with escorting patients to and from the HSC.
Answers phone calls at nurse station; directs calls to appropriate personnel.
Maintains orderly/neat environment.
Assists nursing with preparing patient areas. (pre/post)
Attends education programs/attends department in-services and staff meetings as instructed by Manager.
Maintains positive interdepartmental communication.
Flexible hours as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned
Prior medical experience preferred but not required. Medical Terminology a plus.
High School or equivalent required.
Effective oral and written communication skills.
