Operations and Program Administration at German Accelerator Inc.German Accelerator Intern in Silicon ValleyWe are looking for an intern that, based in the heart of Silicon Valley, will be able to contribute to the core team at one of the most innovative business accelerators and help make great companies. You will be coordinating the communication flow between experienced Silicon Valley executives and some of the most exciting ventures from Europe and help them succeed in the U.S. market. You will meet many seasoned mentors and learn from the way they help young European companies get established in the U.S. and scale their business, and you will be able to celebrate with the graduating startups, taking in the bliss and satisfaction of success, both in the acceleration program and later as alumni on their way to market leadership. The German Accelerator is providing a three-to nine months growth acceleration program to help selected German startups in the Tech and Life Science sector, to successfully tap into the U.S. market and finance opportunities by providing access to infrastructure, mentoring, events and access to a large network. This is your opportunity to contribute to shaping the future of Germany’s technologies and innovations. Duration: 9 Month Roles and responsibilities (include, but are not limited to the following):\tAssist management with the overall operations and administration of the startup accelerator program\tSupport continuous (re-)design, improvement and implementation of new and existing processes\tCommunicate with current, graduate and future startups participating in the program\tCommunicate with and coordinate Mentor group, business partners and affiliates\tHost visitors and give presentations\tOrganize workshops and events for program participants\tAssist participating companies with their participation in the program\tMaintain contact database/CRM\tInitiate changes to operational procedures, where applicable, ensuring consistency with regulatory requirements and corporate guidelinesRequirements:\tIndependent, detail-oriented & open-minded\tCapable of multitasking and able to prioritize workflow and manage multiple projects with minimal to moderate direction\tEntrepreneurial mindset and resistant to stress\tStrong communication skills (people-oriented)\tStrong proficiency of Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint\tSelf-starter and multi-talent with problem solving skills\tExcellent language skills (oral and written) in English\tPreferably experienced in using social media and blog platforms (Facebook, Twitter, WordPress, etc.)German Accelerator supports high-potential German startups and emerging companies to successfully enter the U.S. market and scale their business globally. We provide access to outstanding mentors, office space, valuable connections and the knowledge and expertise required to scale quickly.With offices in San Francisco (Tech) and New York City (Tech), as well as Boston (Life Sciences), startups have the opportunity to come to the U.S. and be exposed to the dynamic and competitive international environment and dive into the spirit of the world’s premier centers for innovation and startup success.
