Work you ll doAs a Deloitte Tax intern, you ll work with diverse and talented teams to help clients analyze the tax effect of complex decisions, reduce overall tax rates, and pursue performance objectives. You will collaborate daily with our tax team to perform research and analysis, and utilize your consultative skills to turn findings into actionable solutions. During your internship you ll interact with multiple clients, providing you exposure to a variety of organizations and a stronger understanding of applicable tax implications for different clients. QualificationsRequired Currently pursuing a degree Bachelor of Science/Business Administration, Master of Science in Accounting or Taxation Strong academic track record (minimum GPA of 3.2) Ability to prioritize tasks, work on multiple assignments, and manage assignments in a team environment Relevant work experience (e.g. internships, summer positions, school jobs) Demonstrated leadership, problem solving, and strong verbal and written communication skills Up to 50% travel requiredPreferred Technology-related coursework highly desirable CPA exam eligibility How you ll growThroughout the course of the internship program, you ll receive formal and informal mentorship and training. Our Tax Intern training program provides a view both into the technical skills as well as critical professional behaviors, standards, and mindsets required to make the most of your internship. The program includes team-based hands-on exercises and activities. Beyond the formal training, you will work with talented professionals and have the chance to ask questions and gain valuable hands-on experience while working on client engagements.
