Job Description

As part of the Brand and Digital Communications team, the Comcast Creative Group creates/produces captivating stories along with dynamic, platform centric creative to promote Comcast's announcements and initiatives across owned and paid channels. The Comcast Creative Group looks to advance Comcast's reputation across digital and social channels along with helping to lead major brand-impacting programs.

You'll support the team in planning and executing productions that elevate the Comcast brand and corporate reputation among key audiences. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who thinks strategically and can handle multiple tasks simultaneously with efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate is both a creative thinker and a proactive doer.

In addition, as an intern within the Corporate Communications function, you'll gain exposure to the communications/PR department of a leading Fortune 50 company. You'll also have opportunities to learn more about other functions across the broader communications team and company, including Consumer Communications; Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion; Community Impact and Digital Equity, to name a few.

Core Responsibilities

Work with production team on all aspects of content creation from idea to execution across various digital platforms and content mediums (including but not limited to: live events, studio production, photography, graphic design, video, and animation).

Attend relevant photography and/or video shoots

Help to manage multiple productions and ensure a smooth run of show/process flow

Assist with the asset management workflow and operations

Regular, Consistent and punctual attendance. Must be able to work nights and weekends, variable schedule(s) and overtime as necessary.

Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

General Requirements:

Currently enrolled and pursuing a bachelor's degree from a United States-based college or university

Authorized to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship in the future

Major: Communications, Production, Journalism and/or Marketing related field

Recommended GPA: 3.2

Must be proficient in Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Outlook

Strong interpersonal skills

Must have excellent verbal/written communication skills

Must have great attention to detail and organizational skills

Demonstrate proven problem-solving skills

Must be able to work evenings (when necessary)

Willingness to learn and work in a fast-paced environment

Working knowledge of social media a plus

Hands on production or design experience a plus

Base Pay: $18.00
