Business Development interns work closely with sales colleagues and account management teams and support growth strategy, and CRM usage. A Business Development intern would also gain experience creating reports and providing insights to local leadership.  This role is also passionate about supporting internal and external stakeholders in the delivery of value to clients. Responsibilities will require you to think creatively to develop new and innovative ways by generating and presenting valuable and practical insights that are relevant to their needs and to the wider Aon business. You will learn how to provide support to members of our Senior Florida Leadership Team. This support will include research, event management and other special projects. You will learn how to act as the chief liaison between the executive and their colleagues, clients, and other partners; you will be a key resource for the entire team! Responsibilities Work with the Producers and Account Executives to identify and monitor the new business pipeline. Provide regular performance communication to local leadership.Develop and maintain management reports and new business databaseProvide quarterly analysis of trends by industry, line of business, market size, etc. and communicate with the regional leadership.Work with New Business Analysts, Producers and Account Executives to maintain current and accurate pipeline reporting through Oracle Sales Cloud.Strategize with sales team and account executives to develop prospect identification and client penetration strategies.Develop creative suggestions for new business revenue.Performing data analysis and modelingDeveloping client-ready materials (PowerPoint, Excel, and Access)Supporting project leadership in synthesizing findings and identifying key insights from analysis of dataProvide insights and substantial client information from data collated.Strategically, solving problems, and establishing procedures that result in process improvementsDemonstrating leadership among peers by contributing agenda topics and openly participating in meetings or other forumsThis list is not all‑inclusive; other tasks may vary based on business needCoordinating complex meeting logistics on or off‑site; may include, but not limited to, budgeting, travel, room reservations, meeting room logistics and materials, and cateringActively participating in leadership meetings for follow‑ups and note taking when applicableDaily interaction with internal and external executive leaders as well as their AAsHelps others understand or attain support with technology or facility requirementsMaintaining/updating/organizing categories and data within databases, OneNote, and/or SharePointPreparing and producing presentations and correspondence and related materials, including editing for grammar, punctuation, and clarity You Bring Knowledge and Expertise We aim to recruit a diverse group of professionals who offer varying experiences, backgrounds and strengths to ensure we can continue to offer the most innovative solutions to our clients.
