Opportunities Available

As a Social Impac t intern at Stryker, you may support the following projects:

Social Impact communications

Assist in the creation, implementation and execution of our company-level Social Impact communication plan

Liaise with internal and external entities to develop communications collateral

Impact, our giving and volunteering platform

Assist in creation of content that engages employees in giving and volunteering

Bring creative project management and communication ideas to the table, helping to engage employees further into the platform

Signature Volunteer Program, Operation Smile

Network with internal Operation Smile Ambassadors and support them in fundraising efforts, while driving the Ambassador program forward

Use creative thinking skills to develop and execute the Operation Smile mission project plan

Social Impact global network

Support project management of company-level Social Impact team

Bring creative ideas to the table, helping to keep Impact partners around the globe engaged and excited about the network

What You Need

Currently working on completion of Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent; we will only consider students who plan be enrolled in a degree-seeking program after the summer

Cumulative 3.0 GPA or above; must be the case at the date of hire and also will be verified during background check in the spring

Must be permanent resident of the U.S. or U.S. citizen

Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Strong communication, organizational, problem-solving, and analytical skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm

Ability to exercise independent judgment

Proficient with Microsoft Office software

Proven leadership and business acumen skills

Proven skillset in data management and/or high attention detail

Proven ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines

Strong interpersonal skills

Driven while in a virtual environment
