Hospitality Internship Jobs description

A hospitality internship is designed to enhance the skills of students in the area of leisure or hospitality. A hospitality internship may offer opportunity to perform one or more from the following tasks: meeting and greeting customers walking in, helping customers in accommodations, directing the luggage of the customers to the rooms, ensuring that best services are offered to the customers, visiting the rooms to meet customers and asking if any assistance is required, coordinating with other departments, offering special packages and services to clients, participating in promotional campaigns, ensuring excellent customer satisfaction and performing other tasks assigned by the hotel manager. A hospitality intern typically reports to a hotel manager.
A hospitality internship is generally offered to students pursuing studies in the area of hospitality management. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Excellent customer service skills are a key trait for this position.
