Logistics Internship Jobs description
A logistics internship is designed to enhance the knowledge and skills of students in the area of logistics management. A student on logistics internship may be required to perform one or more of the following duties: receiving or sending goods at the warehouse, ensuring that the luggage is properly or securely packed, ensuring that all the luggage in appropriate numbers is dispatched or received, learning how senior technicians handle the tasks, applying the theoretical knowledge in the area, preparing logistics report in the area, checking the reports made by others, coordinating with other departments, coordinating with drivers and workers, and performing other tasks assigned by the supervisor. A logistics intern typically reports to a logistics manager.A logistics interns should be pursuing a logistics program. Excellent academic credentials are required. Prior exposure in the area may be advantageous. Excellent customer service skills are a key trait for this position.
