Government Internship Jobs description
The main motive behind offering government internships to students is to educate them on how government offices operate. A government internship generally offers the students an opportunity to perform a few or more of the following tasks: analyzing past and current reports, visiting various divisions of the organization, checking for improvements, analyzing the processes adopted by the organization to perform various activities, suggesting changes in ways things are done, observing and learning from the way managers make decisions, attending training sessions and meetings, writing minutes of meetings, coordinating or synchronizing efforts with other students on government internships; preparing productivity report on behalf of supervisors, performing other tasks assigned by supervisors. A government intern typically reports to a manager.A government internship is offered to students pursuing a bachelor's or a master's degree in business administration. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Excellent analytical skills are essential. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel may be required.
