Internship Manager Jobs description
Internship managers manage, guide, and set policies for internship programs. Internship managers also assist with organizing internship events. In addition, internship managers identify potential businesses that might provide internships. Internship managers inform eligible students about internship opportunities and graduate programs as well.Working effectively with students, employers, and faculty is an important duty of the internship manager. The internship manager mentors and coaches students on finding internships. The internship manager also teaches students how to find full-time work, provides career coaching, and helps with workshops and seminars. The internship manager may have to work with local employers and government agencies. Additionally, internship managers typically coordinate with academic departments to structure new internship programs.
To obtain an internship manager job, one should have a bachelor's degree and at least five years of related professional experience. Candidates with master's degrees are preferred for internship manager positions. Knowledge of Microsoft Office is a plus for those seeking internship manager jobs. An internship manager job candidate should also have a valid driver's license.
