THE ROLE: Security Engineer Co-Op

We are Rue Technology, the team responsible for all the technology behind ruelala.com, gilt.com. Powering an online retail operation of this magnitude takes substantial systems and some serious engineering.

WHAT YOU WILL DO:

Would love to build technology solutions in the cloud for high-scale e-commerce

Work as a security team member on a variety of security projects and tasks

Have some cloud knowledge, scripting, maybe monitoring work, coding (terraform), and an understanding of distributed systems

Are driven, humble, collaborative and hard working

Eager to learn, build their technical depth and hone their security skills

Would love to be mentored by senior technologists and security engineers in a small Agile team setting

Are passionate about making a difference

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We're scaling our site to support daily peaks and working to deliver software faster and more repeatable by taking advantage of modern automation tools and treating our infrastructure as code.
