Job Summary

FreeWheel, A Comcast Company, is hiring a Graduate Summer Intern on the Product Management team working on cross-platform video advertising technology. In this position, you will be responsible for product design work to address client feedback and will partner cross-functionally to support go-to-market (GTM) activities. This opportunity offers the right candidate a chance to shape important products in the FreeWheel portfolio and help drive the future of the video advertising industry. Our 10-12-week program as an intern at Comcast will help you cultivate meaningful relationships, develop professional skills, gain insight to the day-to-day operations of a top media and technology company, and receive mentorship opportunities to expand your professional network. You will gain invaluable knowledge of our industry, be part of our diverse and welcoming culture and receive exposure to other areas of the business, all while working on real life business projects and functions.

Job Description

Core Responsibilities

Own end-to-end ideation, design, and delivery of product features

Holistically understand core business problems and requirements from clients, prospects, sales, and support, to invent efficient and useful solutions

Partner with various functions including engineering, sales, marketing, advisory services, and client solutions to successfully position products and features for successful client use

Define and consistently measure quantifiable success metrics of products and/or features

Maintain a general awareness and understanding of the advertising/media operations and cable TV/content-providers landscape, including vendors, partners, and new dynamic web-advertising technologies

Additional Preferred Skills and Qualifications

Computer science, math, or engineering undergraduate degree or equivalent; enrolled in an MBA program or with a focus on science or math

Business/Technical Acumen: Can clearly articulate a business problem and propose technical solutions to solve it

Leadership: Demonstrated leadership skills, teamwork, and collaboration capabilities

Communication: Has excellent written and verbal skills to create product requirement documents and communicate across global teams

Strategic Thinking: Ability to represent the voice of the customer throughout the product lifecycle

Base Pay: $18.00

Base pay is one part of the Total Rewards that Comcast provides to compensate and recognize employees for their work.
