Administrative Internship Jobs description
An administrative internship may be available with a bank, accounting agency, insurance agency, telecom company, any company in the service sector or manufacturing sector. An administrative intern is responsible for performing administrative duties like performing data entry, receiving phone calls, handling customer service issues, files management, assisting in preparation of various documents, assisting managers on different tasks, scheduling conferences, making travel arrangements, receiving and greeting customers or visitors, performing receptionist duties, various other administrative duties and specific tasks assigned by office manager. An administrative intern typically reports to an office manager.An administrative internship position may be offered to a student pursuing studies in the relevant area. Excellent academic credentials are required. Familiarity with MS Word and Excel is essential. Prior exposure to administrative work through project work may help getting into an administrative internship role.
