Graduate internships may be available in the areas of real estate, construction, oil and natural gas, civil engineering, accounting, finance, information technology, marketing, engineering, manufacturing, architecture, marketing or advertising. Graduate internships may be available with any company depending on the various functional areas in which the company operates. Graduate internships are designed to equip students with practical aspects of work in their areas of study. Graduate interns are generally required to do both functional as well as administrative work in the office. Graduate interns typically report to floor managers.Graduate internships are offered to students pursuing a bachelor's degree in professional courses like engineering, marketing, advertising, IT or others. Excellent academic credentials are essential. Prior exposure to the specific functional area through project work, research work or a thesis is advantageous. Strong ability to coordinate with people from various departments and excellent communication skills are desirable.
