A summer internship provides students a higher level of practical, professional, managerial related work experience that reinforces the theory and application of their graduate/undergraduate coursework in the student’s area of specialty. A summer internship helps students learn their strengths and weaknesses and help identify areas of needed improvement. A summer internship is positioned between the first and second years of college. A summer internship comprises of project work in the areas of strategy formulation, business process reengineering, implementation, retail/investment banking, industry analysis, new product launches, sales & distribution, market research and advertising among others, under experienced senior staff member’s supervision.
