Summer Internship Jobs description
A summer internship provides students a higher level of practical, professional, managerial related work experience that reinforces the theory and application of their graduate/undergraduate coursework in the student’s area of specialty. A summer internship helps students learn their strengths and weaknesses and help identify areas of needed improvement. A summer internship is arranged with companies, government agencies, nonprofit organizations, other universities, research organizations and advocacy groups among others. A summer internship is positioned between the first and second years of college. A summer internship comprises of project work in the areas of strategy formulation, business process reengineering, implementation, retail/investment banking, industry analysis, new product launches, sales & distribution, market research and advertising among others, under experienced senior staff member’s supervision. A summer internship is a great opportunity for a student to meet new people, make new connections, and begin to show other people what they are capable of achieving.A summer internship requires student enrolled in a graduate/undergraduate program. A summer internship student should be hardworking and never afraid of challenges. A summer internship student should have ability to work independently and ability to prioritize multiple tasks. Excellent written and verbal communications skills, strong research skills, computer skills are required.
